The community
It all happens in the WhatsApp group.
PapasKitchen grew out of people at the gym asking what was in the container. The group is where the menu lands first, where the cutoff reminder comes from, and where you shout if you're running late on a Sunday.
A typical week in the group
Papa · Monday, 9:12am
Menu's up for Sunday 👇 Punjabi chicken is back by demand, and I've put the lamb kleftiko on again. Eight dishes, link in the pinned message.
Papa · Thursday, 6:04pm
Two hours left to order for this Sunday. After 8 I'm off to the market with the list, so anything after that goes on next week.
Papa · Sunday, 3:48pm
All cooked, labelled and chilled. I'm at reception from 4. Bring a bag if you've got more than four 🙏
Three or four messages a week. That's genuinely it.
Got a dish your mum makes better?
Post it in the group. If a few people want it, it goes on a rotation — that's how the keema, the kleftiko and the gochujang beef all ended up on the menu.
